We hope these items are as important to you. If you are still running anything less than 6.4.1a, we highly suggest you upgrade as soon as possible..
We offer a service that upgrades your live version (6.2+) to the latest CRE Loaded version 6.4.2 (6.5 upgrade is a different process and fee.. please contact us for pricing)
The $195 upgrade consists of the following
- Fresh file install/upgrade – in a dev location so the live site is not touched.. ie it will continue to function until you are ready to have the dev site made live replacing the current live install
- Fresh database – the upgrade service pulls your current database information and converts it to work with the latest version
- Stock template and image moving to the dev location – most times, the site will be ready to run on stock CRE Loaded 6.4.2 logic
- English only (single language)
- Any custom shipping/payment modules inside the includes/modules/payment and/or shipping which logic does not conflict outside of this location will be ported over
- Timely upgrade service.. once we start the process, your upgraded site can be made live in as little as 5 hours. This time frame depends on 2 important items
a. Your ability to reply/test out the dev site location
b. Our current work load
What the $195 upgrade DOES NOT cover
- Custom modifications
- Add-ons
- Template repairs, converting, debugging your existing template in 6.4.2
- Multiple language support
- CRE Loaded serial/license for PRO or B2B (we do offer these heavily discounted PRO $55 or B2B $95)
What you can expect the upgrade to cost
If your site is mostly stock, The $195 service charge will likely be all you need.. We always scope projects before invoicing so there will be no surprises.. although there may be custom work unknown to us, which may conflict with the stock logic in 6.4.2.. so it is important to let us know of any customizing your site has.. if/when we find issues, we will give you the most cost effective method to get your dev site logic/function added in.*
If your current site has a heavily modified template which needs ported to work with 6.4.2, there is an additional $180 charge to build/port the template. This would be the ideal time to have other modifications done to the template which will likely be included in the above price. Again we will scope out your current live site and let you know of any issues/cost we see ahead of time*
*Although we do our best to scope out the existing live site/template, we can not possibly know of all the customizing, add ons, new function, altered function, or otherwise, customizing that has been done to the live site.. therefor the quote/invoice would be just that.. less than 5% of our past upgrades have issues that require additional time to perform
